Operational for over 40 years, Thorndyke Elementary School enrolls more than 400 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school is a part of Tukwila School District 406, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. It provides the English as a Second Language program. Thorndyke Elementary School organizes field trips to various cultural and educational destinations. It provides accelerated reader and after-school programs.
