Lula Walker Elementary School, founded in 1963, is a part of Amphitheater Public Schools. The school is located in Tucson, Ariz., and offers classes in math, science, language arts, social studies and English. It has a library that houses a variety of storybooks, puzzles, picture dictionaries, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. Lula Walker Elementary School s parent-teacher association organizes various fundraising events and extracurricular activities. The school s curriculum includes art, computers, music, physical education, band and orchestra. It provides Title 1 and bilingual programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. Lula Walker Elementary School also offers special education programs for students with learning and physical disabilities.
