Wakefield Middle School serves more than 500 students of grade six through eight. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the middle school offers various academic and athletic programs. The school provides programs in mathematics, social studies, family and consumer science, technology, music, and English and language arts. Wakefield Middle School offers a wide variety of sports activities, such as football, wrestling basketball, golf, baseball, tennis, track, volleyball and softball. The school's extracurricular activities include math counts, academic team, yearbook, crime stoppers, and chess and art clubs. It offers various electronic games, such as science vocabulary hangman, science vocabulary hangman, geography hangman, spelling wizard and A+ math. The school organizes the fiesta program that offers fun activities, such as arts and crafts, softball and folkl rico. Wakefield Middle School is a part of Tucson Unified School District.
