Sam Levitz has the WORST customer service. Bought 4 pieces of Bedroom furniture in September 2012. We have been trying since DAY ONE to get them to replace a defective dresser. FOUR***count em' ***FOUR**** repair attempts have left the dresser virtually UN-USABLE, yet they will not replace what was obviously a defective item when it was sold. Do yourself a favor and shop ANYWHERE but Sam Levitz furniture!!!!ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR CASH YOU NO LONGER MATTER TO THEM!

I bought a sofa with 2 recliners,I was assured they had the second cord and would call me when they "found " it.Then ,of course,they did not ever do that.Repeat calls were futile.Finally a manager said they would get it from Basset.Well they did not ever get it.I paid a reduced price for the set but it was for a fully functioning item which I eventually had to take care of by having one made.They refused to reimburse me for that as well.I would not ever buy furniture at that store again.

I have had the worst experience with this store. I bought a couch that was defective. They assured me they would replace it. Then they decided to repair it instead. The repair has been rescheduled multiple times, customer service is rude, and the store manager hung up on me. I am waiting for yet another call back to hear how they plan to fix the issue. Yes, they have low prices, but it isn't worth the frustration when something goes wrong.
