Established in 1971, Pistor Middle School is an educational institution that offers a range of learning opportunities to more than 970 students in grades seven and eight. Its curriculum includes math, reading, writing, physical education, computer applications, and visual and fine arts. The school provides food and transportation services. Pistor Middle School maintains a library that has a collection of books and online databases. It offers a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track and field. The school maintains a uniform committee and parent group. Pistor Middle School is a part of the Tucson Unified School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools.
