Laguna Elementary School, located in Tucson, Ariz., is affiliated with the Flowing Wells Unified School District. Founded in 1964, it offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through six. The school offers various programs, such as English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics, and computer and physical education. Laguna Elementary School also provides reading, writing, spelling and computer education programs. The school offers various sports activities, such as athletics, track and field, soccer, baseball and basketball. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
