Founded in 1972, Fruchthendler Elementary School offers classes for more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. It has a parent-teacher association that hosts various fundraising events for parents, teachers and adults. The school provides lessons in reading, writing, math and social studies. It organizes carnivals, family fun nights and auctions. Fruchthendler Elementary School provides memberships for chess and technology clubs and a community council. It has a library that features a variety of books and reading and reference materials. The school employs a librarian, psychologist, nurse, custodian, teachers and other support staff members.
