Hayden's has consistently GOOD food, an interesting menu, and a music venue that should not be ignored. I noticed that some of the "haters" on the reviews did not even spell correctly, so that says something. It's not "trying too hard" to be great. It just is. I suggest one come on a Friday or Saturday to sample the cuisine, and the music, and decide for themselves.

Great Steak and Seafood. Medium to higher in price but worth it.

My husband and I used to love Haydens. How would a shareholder selling his share render everything flavorless? Did he take the salt with him? We started with the flavorless onion rings, then I had the flavorless, warm, chewy fiesta flavorless chipoltle salad thing. (How they made chipoltle flavorless Ill never know.) My Mom had the flavorless Ahi tuna salad and my Husband had the flavorless smoked chicken salad. We were celebrating my Birthday for lunch and when my hubby told the server that she said, "Oh, is your birthday today?" I said ,"Actually its tomorrow but we are celebrating today." She said, "Oh, well you will just HAVE to come back tomorrow and get our free birthday dessert!" Huh? We laughed over that one! I really didnt want it anyways, Im sure it would have been flavorless.

Located on the "lake" in Tualatin (eat outside in good weather), Haydens is a great place for a meal with family, especially brunch. The food is fair to good depending on what you order. Service is very friendly. Live music most weekends. Sundays kids eat free. Banquet rooms available.

The service was okay. There was complimentary wine, cool! I had one dish and sent it back, the flavor (what little there was) was weird and unappealing. The second dish I had was blan as well and I only ate it because I was hungry. The honey lime vinagarette was great, although there wasnt enough to cover the salad. The lake view is cute, music okay, design rather boring and usual. I know there has to be better food in this town than that.
