I took a small stand handed down in my family as a cherry stand. Moves and life hadn't treated it well but it meant something to me (even though turned out not to be Cherry) Wood doctor repaired and refinished it to a beautiful piece of furniture. His restoration will now ready it to continue to be passed down in our family though future generations, who will be proud of their birch stand. He obviously takes great pride in his work as he very much has a right to. However, he also treats the client with as much respect and TLC as he does whatever one brings to him. For example, he was very kind in his telling me that although I hadn't inherited a cherry stand, the birch piece was well crafted and could be finished in cherry. Just a personal story to get to I highly recommend the Wood Doctor.
