I have been going to Dr. Colpitts for years. My impression is this: Dr. Colpitts is very skillful and keeps up with the latest knowledge. He is expert at preparing teeth for a crown, even teeth at odd angles, and they fit well. He has a good character too. His Sierra Crest Dental office is run in the most professional manner with cheerful staff at the front desk and hygienists with modern equipment. His dental assistants and hygienists are the most knowledgeable I have ever met. Dr. Colpitts and his staff really deserve the 5 star rating!

I have lived in the Tahoe area for many years, prior to moving to the Bay Area, and again after 1995. I have seen dentist in Truckee, Morgan Hill, San Jose, and other places. Since returning to Tahoe, I stuck with Dr. Colpitts. He, by far, is the best dentist I have ever been too. The entire office is friendly and customer care and comfort is the main goal. I am real sensitive in my teeth area and Dr. Colpitts and staff make sure that I'm comfortably numb and no pain. You will not find a better dentist in northern California, perhaps all of California, in my opinion.
