This gas station practices illegal bundling, also known as tying.

This store practices price gauging and, worst of all, forced bundling. I was forced to buy a set of cable tensioners when I already had them, and didn’t want them. I repeatedly told the cashier that I did NOT want this item, however they told me something along the lines of “we won’t sell you the chains unless you buy these tensioners,” which, again, I didn’t need and was forced to buy. I called the store, and a guy by the name of Alonzo admitted to forcing me to buy them, and told me to return them. I tried to return the tensioners at a later date, and was told that I needed a receipt in addition to the sale voucher. Sure enough, I pulled out the receipt, and the employee told me there was nothing they could do, even after numerous attempts of me trying to explain the situation. Not only that, but the new store cashier INSISTED, that I was not forced to purchase these, when I know for a fact that I and many other have been. Please don’t force people to buy things they don’t need! This is not only an unethical business practice, but coupled with the 100+% markup on MSRP of the chains ($29 chains for $80), it is also illegal.
