- General Info
- The Hayner presents a wide variety of cultural opportunities year-round. Classes, exhibits and music are our mission but look for many other special events popping up throughout the year such as Children’s events, bus tours, festivals and parties. Exhibits and concerts and most events are offered free and open to the public. The Hayner Whiskey museum is a permanent onsite installation. Hayner Whiskey was a famous pre-pro industry with an interesting mail-order business featuring an unmarked shipping container that did not give away its contents to temperate neighbors! The Hayner mansion is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture built in 1914. There is no admission fee to tour the house. Be sure to include a tour of the lovely Miami County Courthouse next door. The courthouse was built in 1885 and features a unique cast iron dome and many cast iron, leather and tile attributes inside. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is proudly supported by the citizens of the Troy. The Hayner presents a wide variety of cultural opportunities year-round.
