Riverside of Miami County is also known as Miami County Board of Mentally Retarded and Development Disabilities, offers a wide range of recreational and educational programs to children with multiple disabilities. It offers various programs, such as adult and ancillary services, industry productions, supported community employment and administration programs. It provides supported employment services that consist of imparting job skills through development, coaching and follow-along. It also organizes janitorial mobile work crews and placements for in-house positions, including food services, janitorial and clerical positions. The center also organizes various programs for children that include picnics, arts and crafts, walking and social events and outdoor activities, such as rock climbing, canoeing, snow skiing, water skiing, camping and sailing.
