All the products I have had there...mostly breads and cookies have been tasty. My gripe with them is their hours. The hours are not posted in their window and it seems like they are NEVER open...

I needed a birthday cake, and thought I would get better quality at a local bakery than a chain grocery store. I had heard good things about Perrotta's, and decide to give them a try. The price was great- $18 for a 10-inch round, 2-layer cake. But the cake was AWFUL! The cake was dry, lacking in flavor, had a strong coconut oil taste, and cracked in 3 places on the short ride home. The frosting was grainy, and not terribly tasty. The flowers and leaves looked like a child had made them, and the writing was poorly done. I called and was told to come back with the rest of the cake and see Mr. Perrotta, he will probably refund my $18. So their service might be good, but not this particular product. Maybe this was the exception, and not the rule, but I was very unhappy with my cake. Mr. Perrotta was unavailable, and the guy I dealt with argued with me about the degree of moistness of the cake, and refused to refund my money, or even apologize for selling me an inedible cake.
