Been with this company for over a year for both fuel and gas very nice pepole and delivery is always on time.

Don't hire this company. There not a :"Ray" left in this company, as they were sold to an out of state corporation less than a year ago, who over charges and treats their employees badly. I now this because my good friend's husband who worked for this company for 7 years was fired on Christmas Eve! What kind of a company does that. There so many real family-owned business in the area. Give your business to one of them!

recently cancelled John Ray Propane. They came and picked up tanks that still had 20 percent left in 2 tanks. After a month I called about a refund on the propane left in the tanks and they told me no refund it goes to restocking fee. I am out around a 100 bucks but am glad the tanks were not full. Consumer beware. When switching to another company make sure tanks are empty because you won't get a refund.

We hired them to install our central AC. They came out to do the job and took a look at the furnace and said that it was "cracked". Did not explain what was wrong only that we needed a new one and tried to sell us on spending 6-7K on the furnace. They refused to install the A/C as promised until we fixed the furnace. We ended up hiring another contractor to do the furnace as their price was way overpriced. They finally came back to do the A/C and were very slow, took all day, the ductwork looks like a patchwork quilt. They didn't walk me through the finished product or say much about what they had done. Then come to find out when we got the final bill they attempted to charge us for parts and labor that they did not do. When questioned on the overcharges they sited that they were deliberately trying to "recoup" their profits. I would never use them again, they are the equivalent of used car salesmen. Very "sales pitchy", high pressure and don't do good work.

John Ray & Sons saved the day. No heat when the temps were below 15. Arrived within an hour of my call to fix the furnace. Great service. Thank you.
