Main Street Elementary School offers special classes in art, music and physical education. The school s core curriculum includes mathematics, reading, writing, language arts, English, science and social studies. It employs subject teachers, paraprofessionals, speech pathologists and therapists. Main Street Elementary School s library includes more than 10,000 storybooks, picture dictionaries, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school provides guidance and counseling programs to encourage intellectual, social and emotional growth of students in kindergarten through grade four. It also offers English Language Learners and special education programs. Located in Troy, Mo., the school is governed by the Lincoln County R-III School District.
