General Info
We provide care for infants through Pre-K. All teachers are trained in child development and early childhood education as well as being certified in cpr and first aid. Sign language is used with our infants and toddlers. We teach Spanish to our preschool and pre-k classes.

We love Harmony! My son started there two years ago and has loved all of his teachers. He is in the pre-k and getting ready to go to kindergarten in Troy. He is more than ready to go, even reading a bit! When I pick him up at the end of the day he doesn't want to leave. He always tells me about what he learned at Harmony. He knows about dinosaurs that I've never even heard of. Everyone at Harmony is so friendly, even the teachers who my son has never had know him and say hi to him in the morning. Personally, I'm glad that Harmony would expel a violent child to keep the rest of the kids safe. We will be sad to leave Harmony and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for child care!
My baby started at Harmony at three months old. It was really hard for us to leave our baby with anyone other than family, but Harmony made us feel safe and comfortable right from the start. At first our daughter was a very "needy" baby. The teachers loved her and figured out how to make her happy. She is now happy and independent. She loves her primary teacher (Ms. Marilyn) as well as the other teachers in the room. Our daughter is always happy and engaged when we pick her up. My wife loves that they have little circle times and story times with the babies. I love that they take the babies outside. One of my favorite pictures of our daughter is one of her and another child on a stroller ride. We are always well informed of how our baby's day was. Also, the actual owner of the center is always there to talk to. She quickly addresses any concerns that we have! As far as the post below, I suggest touring the center to find out for yourself!

Not good. My child was in their Pre-K program for only a few weeks when the adminstrator called me at work on a Thursday morning to tell me that my child "could finish out the week". The teachers did not speak to me about my child's behavior during this time. When I mentioned this to the adminstrator, she wouldn't respond or even look at me when I picked up my child. My child was in a daze when I got to him. The classroom was a chaos with kids screaming and crying and throwing blocks at each other (who were dragged out to the office). On Friday my child did not want to go back, so I didn't take my child back. The school didn't refund me for the day that was missed. I'm still stunned by the events. Kindercare ever since and it's all been good many months later. Harmony doesn't have control of the kids there.

I cannot tell enough people about our wonderful experience with the loving care of Harmony's high quality, educated staff! We were looking for a new childcare and preschool facility after a disappointing experience at different Troy center. Our then 4 your old son needed a program to prepare him for Kindergarten and our 1 year old daughter needed a nurturing place to grow while I was at work. We could not have found a better childcare and preschool program, Harmony is amazing! When my son began Kindergarten we were sitting together reviewing the new classroom rules that he needed to be aware of and he kept telling me "oh, we do that at Harmony, Mom! I believe he had the best of preparation for the big world of elementary school! My daughter is now 3 years old and loves all of her teachers at Harmony! She is blossoming into a sweet and caring little girl wi
