I just completed the Medical Assistant program at Harris, and my experience was a mixed one. Most of the staff were great and professional and would go the extra mile to help you if you were serious about learning. I noticed most of the students spent too much time complaining rather than learning. Financial aid was over worked and not helpful, and I kept getting "mysterious" bills that wound up being a "mistake". It seems a little fishy to me. If you call the school with a question, you get voice mail and no one returns your call. I give this school one star because I had to hunt down administrative staff to help me with any questions due to financial or my career. Plus the atmosphere was very chaotic due to MANY unprofessional students. (physical fights, etc...) but I did learn the skills I needed, only because I "Hung" in there. I would research other schools before going to this one. I wish I had.

attention possible students!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not proceed to this school turn back while you still can....the tuition is astronomical and you will get nothing for it....the entire staff is incompetent !!!!!!!!!..they had one good teacher but she is gone from there now so there are no good teachers left. during my time there as a student the place was lit on fire 3 times and later had a bomb threat. if you do make it through without loosing your temper and feeling like you got robbed blind you will have to fight for your transcripts from the lazy sloppy incompetent staff...i was a really good student with nearly perfect attendance and i deserved a better school but again i got lucky due to the fact that i was taught by the one good instructor they had. she's no longer there making the place a complete waste of time. i'm sure you all want a good education for your money so please heed this warning and choose another school. you have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!
