Alcohol and Drug Services is a program that offers a variety of outpatient services. It provides adolescent and adult counseling and screening and assessment services. The program also conducts alcohol highway safety educational classes for drivers that offer information related to substance abusing offenses. In addition, Alcohol and Drug Services organizes aftercare group sessions for chemically-addicted clients. It is accredited by the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. With a location in Traverse City, Mich., Alcohol and Drug Services is operated by Catholic Human Services, which provides a range of programs in more than 20 counties that include adoption, advocacy, volunteerism, respite care and community development.
