He is absolutely wonderful, a full service shop. (i.e. He shines the shoes and makes even small repairs that are sometimes not included in the cost.),

I came all the way from nj to have my shoes dyed for my sons wedding because I was told Hakky's was the place to go. The owner, Wayne, was the nicest person to deal with and would not stop trying until he got it perfect. And perfect he did. Even the bridal shop was shocked at how perfect they matched my gown. It was worth the trip. I also took a trip to Thailand and bought a pair of shoes that I wore so much they needed repairs. Wouldn't take them anywhere else - took a ride to Hakky's and again a perfect job. Everyone don't waste a moment trying to find another shoemaker. This is the only place I would go for shoe repairs. Last wk when I got out of work in Towson, I wanted to go to Hakky Shoe Repair because a strap broke on my sandles. Then, my car wouldn't start; dead battery. A nice guy gave me a hot shot in that garage; had to keep my car running to get to Hakky. I pulled up right in front of their store; went in; said to the man at the counter that's my car; I have to keep it running; could you please fix my sandle strap. The man Wayne said, it will only take me a minute to fix your sandle; wait here. He was right; he glued it; I got my wallet to pay him; he said, no, I'm not going to charge you; I said I want to pay you; you are so nice, he said, look, you are a damsel in distress, and he said come see me again; he pointed up the street. There is a Goodyear store two doors up. I said funny thing, I was going to Bel Air, where I live;they want 191.00 installed. He said; try Goodyear. Well, Goodyear was about to close,but they installed battery for $135.00! I went back to Hakky to thank him!

Wonderful service friendly and honest staff I would not take shoes anywhere else.

Finally discovered where Mr. Wayne Harris moved his business, along with the Dry Cleaner's..Carousel. As usual, the service is never disappointing. I received a phone call the same day I dropped off my shoe's, and was able to collect them, after sole and heal replacement. They looked Great! Reasonably priced as usual too! Thank You Again!! I Highly Recommend You!! Again..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hakkys shoe repair has moved to 919 York road next to Burger King. That bald guy that works there is the man. They do great work at a good price, try them you won't regret it a+++++ service.
