BEWARE. Sometimes this company uses a different name. If the name contains Meridian, and it's in Washington Township, stay away! We had a hideous experience with this company on our cross-country move from NJ to CA. I very much doubt any of the good reviews here are authentic. They doubled their quote once our possessions were already on the truck (!). They took over TWO MONTHS to deliver our possessions, when we were supposed to get them within two weeks. They ignored our calls repeatedly when we asked why our things had not arrived. Stay away.

Meridian international movers made my last move a therapeutic experience. When I called them, they seemed very friendly. It was quite easy to get a quote as I didn’t really own too much. The movers were supposed to arrive at 11 am. They showed up 15 minutes early! My movers actually arrived early when most people I know won’t shut up about how late their movers were. The movers were all very efficient. They packed up my studio apartment in just 40 minutes. I just watched as they methodically packed and loaded all my valuables. Everything was delivered on the scheduled date and nothing went missing.

Their speed alone is good enough to recommend them. But they are not just fast! They managed to deliver all my belongings right on schedule to my new house without a single scratch on any item. I really wasn’t expecting this level of professionalism from a company that charges such low prices. Oh well, hire them before they hike the prices, will you?

They initially quoted a price that seemed pretty reasonable to me and so they were hired. Their crew arrived earlier than the scheduled time. Amazing how many fake reviews this company can buy. They are the worst in the industry and lie and cheat you out of every dime they can and then deny stealing your personal property. Leo is the most crude individual alive on this earth and he is well accomplished at lying.

I hired Meridian international movers in such a rush basically because I had to move on a three days’ notice. Frankly, I was expecting problems and issues just like any move. When the men arrived at my home, I thought they were very professional and well equipped. They took such a short time in packing and loading my stuffs to their vans. They even helped with the furniture I was going to leave behind; they gave me the phone number of a very good charity. They delivered my valuables right on schedule. I think I got either really lucky with this company or they really are a trustworthy and reliable moving company.

Meridian international movers is a company that really cares for you and your belongings. Their movers were so careful while handling my valuables while relocating them. Nothing was overlooked by these men. They used enough packing materials to make sure that my belongings would travel safely. They were done with the job in just 2 hours. The same job has taken other movers up to 6 hours. It’s crazy how fast and thorough these guys were. I took an inventory when they delivered everything. But with Meridian international movers, you can really customize the kind of deal you want. I didn’t want them to put my furniture in separate storage units as that may increase the chance for damage. The manager was very attentively taking notes of my request. When the men arrived at my home in Washington Twp, NJ, I was quite pleased to see how professional and well equipped they all were. After 4 days, they delivered all my stuffs to Kansas City, MO. Might I just add, all the furniture was in excellent condition.

In June I wrote a nasty review for the awful move of my household property. Where is it ? The pick up crew seemed to know what they were doing. A week later the delivery crew deeply scratched my new floor in my new home. Worst of all several pieces of furniture and dishes were broken , or wet. An extension ladder , a box of DVDs and an iPod and accessories missing !! The original estimate doubled to over $13,000.00 What would you do ?

They turned out to be very trustworthy. I say that because they arrived on time and delivered on time. They were fast to pack and capable to load everything easily. Meridian international movers conducted our move from NJ to CT last month. The best thing about this moving company is their price. They charge very low prices compared to other moving companies. I’m not completely a fan of the movers because I think they lack experience. None of my valuables were damaged though. I just thought the movers could have worked faster. Another good thing is that they only use the amount of packing material that is needed. I have paid more than 500 dollars only for packing materials in the past. So this was really good. Hiring Meridian international movers is a really good idea if you want to save some money. But just make sure that you instruct the movers well.

I was well impressed with there service and price at first when they over estimated the cubic ft I was wondering why? but iam glade they did because I forgot a few item but still saved money on the move and it was less than i originally was quoted. Thanks Austin and Jackie
