Spaulding Memorial School serves students in preschool through grade two. Its academic curriculum includes programs in language arts, reading, writing and mathematics. The school additionally offers classes in art, music, computer science and physical education. Spaulding Memorial School has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors family nights, staff-appreciation luncheons and fundraising events. Its media center organizes book fairs and stocks over 14,500 volumes, more than 15 periodicals and audiovisual equipment. The school offers Character Counts, which is a program that helps students to develop responsibility, citizenship, trustworthiness and respect for others. In addition, Spaulding Memorial School offers a guidance and counseling program for the career, academic, personal and social development of students.
