Founded in 1960, Hatton Elementary School offers various educational programs for more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s campus features a library, computer laboratory with over 35 student accessible computers and nearly 20 classrooms. Hatton Elementary School also includes a gymnasium, cafeteria and art classroom. The school offers speech, tutoring and the Indian Education programs for Native Americans. It employs a staff of approximately 25 teachers. The school is operated by Lawrence County Schools, which operates various elementary, high and middle schools and offers community education classes. Hatton Elementary School is located in Town Creek, Ala.
