Located in Torrington, Conn., Wolcott Hall Nursing Center provides nursing and health care services to individuals. It is a certified skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center that provides care for injury-related illness and complex medical conditions, including post-surgical, hospice care and long-term care. It provides physical, occupational, speech and recreation therapies; and dietary plans. It offers swallowing evaluations and therapy; verbal and nonverbal communication techniques; and cognitive and memory retention programs; and a rehabilitative dining program. It offers therapeutic recreational programs and special activities are designed for residents. Additionally it also offers pulmonary management, wound care, pain management; hospice and respite care; and family and resident support groups and rehab team home safety evaluations.
