for the most part its a very good service but the city of torrington can save money if the 3 volunteer departments were used alot more a big fires after all the volunteers are trained to the citys standards it would also be nice to know whats going on when a engine sighns on the air oh yeah before i forget the city does not need the liability of running as first responders thats why the city pays for the ambulance service...
