This man a great surgeon now retired he is dearly missed I know I wish he was still in Torrington he's a real down to earth man he is for patient a doctor that cares so hard to find in area

Unreal after many yrs loyal to establishment they were rude and impolite everything everyone else's fault but theirs treat patients like enemies never get straight answers medical reports became vague and manipulative after I got Mrsa no one would give me straight answers everyone including primary care dr and hospital ran for cover and manipulated stories on my condition , telling me I could have gotten anywhere , ya right sure I did , liars , I will never return to that establishment again , whatever happened to that your dr is your alli and your confidant ?? .... It seems to me it's insurance and Drs against patient good luck to this place three of their best and Drs are gone only knuckle heads left every visit had to walk on glass and had to bite my tongue wouldn't let them turn my attitude into the way they are. Very very upset with their ways ....

Terrible. They broke a 400 boot for my leg and blamed it on me and refused to replace it. Canceled appointments 2 times in one week. As I'm in pain from a broken leg and surgery they messed up getting me a prescription. They were supposed to call it in Friday then called to inform me that they couldn't do it and they are closed all weakened so I have to wait until Monday.

scheduling the 1st appt was impossible, took 3 weeks to get in. Then you wait in the waiting room 1+hrs, you wait in the exam room another hr. why have appointment times? we tell the dr cant have MRI, "no no, it'll be fine" 1 week for appt but spend 2 entire days on phone with radiology-guess what cant have the MRI. "well we'll have to do an artiorgram which takes another week to schedule, then a week before being seen for results. Need surgery, ok. cant get that done for 4 more weeks! go in for preop 2 days before and find out no cant have surgery-didnt stop meds. NO ONE SAID TOO!!! now another 2 week wait!!!!

Also, never again.



I visited the Torrington office and waited in the filthy exam room for 45 minutes. I did not sit for the chair was stained and broken. I have muscle pulls and the physician did not examine me. He said I was fine due to the x-rays and one year old MRI.



I suggest that all beware for muscle problems can not be seen in x-rays.

I went to see doctor spero in his Bristol office more then once. The communication was completly off. They would say they would call then weeks later i would call them and they said they were waiting on me. When they promised to fax paper work over to a pain management doctor who could better help me it never happened. So i went months with non stop pain until i found a doctor who actually understood what they were talking about.

I have been in the Torrington area for 4 years.

I don't know if I can name the Dr. so I won't but I met one of the group in an emergency situation in the ER. He was so great and made me feel at ease. I remember he even had me laughing in spite of my critical condition.

I went on to retain this Physican as mine. LOL

My Grandson had a procedure done with another DR. in the group and he also came home with a feeling of trust and comfort for his DR.
