      General Info
      The Torrance-South Bay YMCA helps in the development of spiritual, mental, physical and social skills of families and communities. Located in Torrance, Calif., the organization provides health and social services to more than 12,500 individuals. It offers preschool and before- and after-school child care programs. The Torrance-South Bay YMCA also provides parent-child programs, swimming lessons, and individual and family counseling. The organization features several camps that offer canoeing, sailing, fishing, boating, horseback riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and arts and crafts. Its nutrition and socialization programs serve meals to approximately 52,000 people and provide fitness and dance classes.
