      Located in Torrance, Calif., Sankosha U.S.A. is a subsidiary of Sankosha Corporation, which develops and manufactures ceramic gas tube surge arresters. It provides gas discharge tubes for use in a variety of areas, including consumer electronics, modems, satellites, computers, broadband applications, industrial applications and telecom circuit protection. The company also sells surge-impedance testers used for measuring the surge impedance of a ground system. Its gas tube surge arresters provide personnel, equipment and circuitry protection from high-transient voltage and limit-resulting dangerous current. In addition, the company offers its patented product, SAN-EARTH, which is used to build conductive concrete grounding electrodes.
