      WorkCare offers care for most workplace injuries such as cuts, sprains and strains, particles in the eye and X-rays. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. When further treatment is necessary, patients are stabilized and transferred to the nearby Stormont-Vail Emergency Room at 1500 S.W. Tenth. Care for injured workers at times other than WorkCare’s daytime Monday through Friday hours are provided at the Stormont-Vail Emergency Room. WorkCare’s medical staff offers continued care for patients first treated at any level. The injured worker’s company receives prompt follow up information, and injuries are tracked through the entire worker’s compensation process. Rapid, paperless communications makes WorkCare stand out. In addition, WorkCare’s staff offers testing services, physical evaluations and preventive programs, customized for your workplace.
