I apologize for creating a disappointing environment! We do our best to provide a pleasant experience for everyone who walks through our door and I think we usually do fairly well at that. However, due to the delicacy of our products we must insist on careful browsing (doubly so when customers are asking to handle our rarest books) and in doing so we sometimes upset folks. Anytime customers improperly handle our books we find it necessary to "hover" and lend a helping hand. We also generally avoid bringing out expensive books that browsers who have not demonstrated proper book handling skills request to view because these books damage easily and are only rare because of their condition in most cases. Perhaps I should have been more direct with you and your husband regarding my concerns but I find that having their book handling skills criqitued usually upsets folks. Regardless, I agree that you not returning would be in the best interests of all parties involved. Best regards, Brandon Rison
