Blackburn Nursery is a local, family-owned lawn, garden, landscape and maintenance business. The company was established in 1936 by Tom and Ruth Blackburn as Blackburn Lawn Service. The company began by installing landscape plantings, trimming trees and shrubs, mowing lawns and installing one of the first irrigation systems. In 1995, the business was purchased by the current owners, Brett and Suzy Blackburn. Blackburn has expanded over the years and provides a garden store, landscape design and installation, lawn irrigation, landscape lighting, site planning, lawn renovation, retaining walls, computer imaging and nursery sales. It offers quality plant material from the best growers and a home and garden center. It offers state-of-the-art nursery and garden. Blackburn Nursery is located in Topeka, Kan.
