Awful!!!decor extremely dated and extremely noisy and crampt

Had a wonderful relaxing experience at the spa today. I began my day with a facial and ended it with an even more relaxing massage. I found the staff friendly and knowledgable and will definitely be back for more visits.

I truly had a wonderful day. I had a gift certificate from my daughter that I finally decided to use and I am glad I did. I was pampered from beginning to end with a plus being I can move my neck. I will be back sooner than later.

Staff was not friendly at all. Husband coming home from Afghanistan and I thought I would take a day to pamper and look nice since I haven't seen him in so long. Staff doesn't give a crap about you or about making it a relaxing, easy experience. Forget this place. I'll stick to the Center for Health and Healing from now on (a few buildings up from simply skin). Much more professional and relaxing there and the staff is always kind.

Unfortunately I always wait until the last minute to get things done. As a birthday gift, I wanted to purchase a gift certificate for my girl from Simply Skin. The only thing was that I was in bumper to bumper traffic in Northern New Jersey on my way to escorting her, our family and friends to celebrate this day. I called 10 minutes prior to closing on a Friday. I want everyone to know that Hillary is the most extraordinary employee. She not only took my order over the phone, she placed the gift certificate in an attractive box and placed it in a secure location for me to retrieve when I finally returned to Toms River. I cannot express my appreciation for Hillary in going the extra mile for me. I highly recommend this salon to everyone! Thank you so much, Hillary you saved me.

I am only rating the Salon but based on that, I would not try the Spa. New to the area, I called and explained what I wanted and the receptionist made an appointment with 'Tori'. They called me the day before my appointment to confirm with 'Tori'. When I arrived, I was introduced to 'Annie'. I said I had an appointment with Tori, who, it turns out was right next to 'Annie'. Their explanation....'we changed your stylist'. No prior phone call....



After some back and forth regarding lifestyle, showing her photos, explaining my past experiences, Annie cut my hair. To be fair, she spent an hour on me, however, she said she was going to cut it with a razor but much of it was cut with scissors. I can never tell how good a cut I get until I get home and wash it and style it myself. Well, the left side was decidedly longer than the right side and it wasn't the cut I asked for. Good thing hair grows!
