Joseph A. Citta Elementary School, founded in 1999 and located in Toms River, N.J., is affiliated with the Toms River Regional School District. The school offers a variety of academic and cocurricular programs. It has more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through five. Joseph A. Citta Elementary School enrolls students from diverse social, ethnic and economic backgrounds. The school offers various subjects, including mathematics, English, science, social studies, art, and physical education. It also offers music, guidance, media center, health, English as a second language, technology and speech programs. Joseph A. Citta Elementary School also offers various clubs, such as art, band and strings, chorus, intramurals, media, news and technology clubs.
