Athwal Eye Associates offers laser-assisted cataract and astigmatism correction surgery with the Catalys Precision Laser System. With this "state of the art" laser our surgeons can customize cataract surgery with greater precision. It provides 3-D imaging of the eye that results in perfectly placed laser incisions and treatment which is 10 times more accurate than manual surgery. In addition to correcting astigmatism, this laser also softens the lens which allows cataract removal with less trauma to the eye. Laser-assisted cataract surgery results in faster visual recovery and healing than traditional cataract surgery. Dr. Barinder Athwal and Dr. Harjit Athwal have done over 25,000 cataract and laser surgeries combined. Our doctors and staff stay current with the latest developments. Best choice ever. The doctors are great, the staff is so nice. When my 11 year old decided to get contacts, they really took their time teaching him how to put them in and take them out. He went home feeling very confident about the process. Their exams are very complete and they really show they care about their patients.
