I've known Brian for a long time. He mounted my first trophy buck 15 years ago and it still looks great! A small story to help you understand a bit about Brian's Taxidermy: I was very excited about getting my trophy back. He told me the buck would take approx 6-7 months. After 8 months, words were exchanged and I swore to never go back. 3 Years and 4 trophies later I had to tape my nuts up and go back. None of the other taxidermist measured up. My wife got her first trophy and wanted it to look as good as my first. I hoped Brian wouldn't remember me but he did. I had to apologize and told him I don't care if he takes 2 years! Now I have several trophies that look fantastic. I brought Brian a bobcat this February- said he wasn't taking new clients for a while cause his box is full. Glad I'm a repete customer! If your trophy looks rushed, it's cause you rushed him!
Contrary to the poor reviewer, I've used Brian's Taxidermy for many years and have found his work to be superior to most other shops...including Hibler's in Kingsville. Plus he will work with you to make your mount a unique piece of artwork. I've had turkey's, whitetail deer, and numerous exotics done there, both European & full shoulder mounts; all very exquisitely done & at a fair price. David L, Spring, TX

Had 3 hides with multiple cuts put in them when getting them tanned. Had a coyote trappers pelt done and he didn't even take the time to turn the ears back out. Traded with a hide for partial euro mount, he bleached the back of the horn bases and didn't even try to touch it up. Also, on my elk mount, they cut the hide - along the lip did a very poor job stitching it (visible), looked like it had a tootsie roll stuck under the nose, bondo slop was found on the horns, tearducts were plastered with brown filler, and ordered the wrong form and didn't do the customizations to the pose we agreed upon and I paid extra for!
