My family and I went there for the first time last summer. I just called and they are opening up for the season in early April. The food was fantastic. If you want to experience Rhode island at it's best, go to Evelyn's. Food, service, atmosphere it was to die for. It was so busy and they still made us feel like we were it.

where i do i start, the place is nestled on the edge of nanaquacket pond,,,theres a dock for your small boats to pull in to...the outside back patio is grand, serving the best margaritas in town. the seafood is FRESH and cooked to order by the owners themselves..the atmosphere is sparkling clean, happy and gay and FUN!!!!the wait staff is lovely, professional and eager to please. EVELYNS is a MUST if youre near newport...FIND IT AND GO> its a dining experience you will always remember and will be anxious to repeat time and time again
