Tipton Elementary School is a learning center that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. Located in Tipton, Ind., the school provides Title 1, Drug Abuse Resistance Education and accelerated reader programs. It also conducts classes in life skills, speech improvement, and health and computer education. Tipton Elementary School supports a range of extracurricular activities that includes basketball, band, choir, and art and weather clubs. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several events, such as ice cream socials, movie nights and fall festivals. Its guidance counseling division offers anger management and bullying awareness sessions. It is governed by Tipton Community School Corporation. Tipton Elementary School additionally organizes musical concerts and fundraising events.
