I am 21 year old female who got a DUI on my b day. This lawyer said he could help, so i hired him. He told me to email him if i had any questions/concerns, as court grew closer i emailed him 3xs in regards to questions & he never responded. Then 2 days before trial he sends me an email that his email was hacked (he still could have called).Then in court, i hear him tell the arresting officer, "I am wasting my time & taking her money on this case, there is no chance." I was offended. Then he noticed that i was in the courtroom &quickly pulled me in the hall where he went back &forth between the judge & i. I lost the case & when he informed me of what i have to do, it was completely opposite of what the judge ordered.Courthouse told me that my lawyer has to fix this, I asked for his help & he wrote "case is over, do what they say." I am so appalled by the way he treated me, i would never refer my worst enemy to him! You have one chance to get help, hire someone who wants to help you.
