Dr. Wade Chimerofsky is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing in Thousand Oaks, CA and is thrilled to return to his home state after obtaining advanced training at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes in foot and ankle surgery with innovative evidence-based techniques. Dr. Chimerofsky offers expertise in minimally invasive surgery (bunions, hammertoes, arthroscopy), arthritis, flatfeet, reconstructive foot & ankle surgery, heel and joint pain, wound care, and complications with peripheral vascular disease/diabetes. He also enjoys treating athletes with sports injuries allowing them resume competitive activity. When creating a custom treatment plan, Dr. Chimerofsky collaborates with his patients and their other medical providers to enable his patients to achieve greater health. As a patient of his, you can expect a warm demeaner, attention to detail, and empathy. Dr. Chimerofsky is a California native raised in Santa Clarita, CA. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola University Chicago. He then completed his medical education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He was accepted to Yale-New Haven Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program and ultimately served as Chief Resident, completing comprehensive training specializing in foot & ankle reconstruction and limb salvage. Dr. Chimerofsky is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medicine Association (APMA) and is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). In his free time, Dr. Chimerofsky enjoys spending time with his family (including his twin sister), traveling, cooking, enjoying California beaches/vineyards, weightlifting, and cycling.
