Disappointed in my recent visit! I recently toured the home with my family and were very well treated by Fredericka. She was a knowledgeable and hospitable host. She gave us a very nice tour of the home. That day it was raining and we didn't get to walk the grounds, so we asked and was told we could tour the grounds on any day that the gates were opened. When my sister and I returned the following week, we were literally "run off" by the person who rudely informed us that she is the "director". Since Fredericka had already given us the permission to walk and take pictures, I had on a dress and wanted to have my pictures made in the beautiful surroundings (NOT professionally!). The director acted as if we were trying to do something nefarious on the grounds. She is not professional and acts as if she owns the grounds herself! Something needs to be done about a person who can single-handedly ruin an experience for others, just because she is the "director". Visitors beware!
