Founded in 1976, Good Shepherd Church and Academy provides Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) to individuals both children and adults. With curriculum based on Bible, Good Shepherd Academy provides classes for K-3 through 12 for the children. Located in Theodore, Ala., it also provides day care, after school care and home school services for children above 6 years. Every Wednesday the academy provides chapel services with different speakers. Students are also provided training in extra-curricular activities like student counsel, yearbook staff and bowling team.
