Complaint Type: Refund / Exchange Issues

Description of Complaint: I called the company and spoke with Joe Meyers. I informed joe of the Item I was in need of and gave him the numbefs that I recieved from the OEM I asked joe to check and be sure that the HYD pump he was quoteing me on has a 13 spline 7/8" input shafty on it. He assured me on 3 different phone occassions over a 1 month period that the quote he gave me was for the pump with a 13 spline 1 7/8" shaft. I proceeded with the order fully confident that Joe Meyers had given me correct info. The pump arived a week later and low and behold it was not the 13 spline 1 7/8" shaft he assured me of but it was a completely diferent size and keyed shaft. Itried over the next several days to contact joe and was continually told he was out. At this time I asked to speak with a supervisor which I ended up with a individual named Al, Al would not give me his last name After 20 minutes or so of trying to explain to Al that it was the wrong pump me I was explitive out of luck because that was what I ordered. Nearly a month later I still have not been allowed to speak to Joe Meyers about this. I sent the pump back at my expence and was told that there would be a restocking fee. I told them I should not have to pay a restocking fee dur to the mistake being on there part. Today I recieved notice from my bank that 400 dollars of the 930 dollars had been refunded. This is insanr a 55% or more restacking fee for their mistake. I see no reason for me to have to pay any restock as they told me it was an instock item and it shipped the day I ordered it.In addition I feel that Al is lieing to me because he stated that the restocking fee was from the factory. I would expect that due to the mistake on thier part they will refund the full amount.

Desired Settlement: Refund
Desired Outcome Description: I would expect a full refund due to the mistake being on their part i.e. Joe Meyers telling me it was the correct part fully knowing it was not.

Exact same thing happened to us here in Vancouver WA. We were charged over 50% as well for a valve that was sent incorrectly. We also paid shipping two ways. Absolutely terrible treatment as a customer. Terrible attitudes, and Al the "owner" is the worst. So no wonder his employees have the same attitude. Do not help this company survive. They are a perfect example of whats wrong with businesses today. How they have survived this long is a complete mystery. I give them one star for at least answering the phone/email however rude it may be.
