The Colony Police Department is a law enforcement agency that preserves peace, protects lives and properties and arrests violators. It also prevents and deters crime. The department has a patrol division that responds to calls for service related to theft, robbery, burglary and assault. The Colony Police Department supports the Alcohol and Substance Awareness Program (A.S.A.P.), which is a comprehensive education program designed to prevent substance abuse and violence. It maintains a citizen police academy that provides training programs related to criminal law, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, first aid, patrol procedures and investigations. The Colony Police Department is located in The Colony, Texas.
