Truman Arnold Companies is an international petroleum marketing and distribution company that handles more than 2 billion gallons of product each year. The company offers its customers throughout the continental United States and Canada six major brands of fuel. Its wholesale division is one of the largest independent wholesalers of major branded fuel in the United States. It also operates several subsidiaries, including TAC Air and TACenergy. Truman Arnold built and operated the Road Runner multistate chain of high-volume convenience stores until it was sold in 1989. The company was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Texarkana, Texas. In 2006, Forbes listed Truman Arnold Companies as the 175th-largest private company.
