I agree with the first review. The salesperson, on several occasions (because I try to give local businesses several chances to make a good impression) is never friendly or helpful. She just sits behind the counter, never saying a word unless you say hello first. I don't like to be followed around a store, per se, but it would be nice to be greeted, told about sales, etc. There are some very nice items in the store; however, they don't appear to be very picky about items they choose to consign. Much of what I've found there looks like garage sale items. I'm not trying to be ugly, but I'm being honest. While you might get lucky from time to time, the majority of what I've seen in this store is a bit frumpy, very worn, & more "mature" in style than my taste. Over the years,I have probably bought 4 items there, so generally it's not worth my time to shop there. I've given this place all the chances I can; I'm done. For stylish, high-end, top quality, name brand items at a reasonable price - and for friendly customer service, shop at the resale shops on State Line & at Richmond Road in Texarkana. I won't list their names here - that seems unfair - but they're easy to find. I hate to give poor reviews...I NEVER do this, but times are hard, money & time are precious resources, & Carolyn's just keeps on disappointing. I wish they'd do better!

I went in and I had to say hello and never once did they didn't ask if I needed anything. or if they could help me find something. This is a very snobby place. I will not recommend it to anybody!!
