Terre Haute Police Department is a public service agency of the city of Terre Haute, Ind. The agency operates through three service divisions, such as the operations, investigations and support services divisions. Its operation division is made up of uniform patrol, street crimes unit, bicycle patrol and traffic division. The division also oversees the special response team and crowd control unit. The department s investigation division contains violent crimes unit, burglary and theft unit, white collar and auto theft unit and juvenile investigations. Terre Haute Police Department s support services division is in charge of the records division, fleet management, training, environmental protections division and civilian support staff.
