I thought Mexico Viejo was bad, but this place easily beats them out for horrible Mexican food. I ordered the Steak Ranchero, it was covered with tomato paste, the beans were bland and the rice tasted like it had been out all day. And I guess they think the local are scared of guacamole because the salad was like something you'd get at a truck stop. I guess the important lesson here is: If you live in Taylorsville and want good Mexican food, make the extra effort to drive to Statesville (Mi Peublo) or Wilkesboro (Monte De Rey), because you're not going to get it in Taylorsville.
