Slab Science is the only company in this area providing this much needed service. Tearing out and re-pouring concrete is not only more expensive, but it often results in damage to surrounding plant material, and can take days to complete a project. Our procedure is more of a treatment where high density polyurethane foam is injected under pressure to stabilize soils and raise existing concrete back to its original level. Vehicle traffic is near immediate because the cure time is fast, and there is no impact to surrounding plant material. We can lift or repair Driveways, Garage or Basement Floors, Sidewalks, Patios, Steps, Golf Cart Paths, Pool decks, etc, etc. The procedure, originally known as Mudjacking, is now taking hold as the option of choice by far. Why? 1) Instead of supporting expensive concrete investments with just soil (which is highly susceptible to moisture and natural compacting), pressurized foam injections permeate even the smallest voids and construct a rock-hard substrate that is water proof. 2) Eliminates the "new next to old" appearance that can occur when only portions of a driveway or sidewalk is re-poured. 3) It is greener since the existing concrete is salvaged instead of being demolished and hauled to our local landfills.
