They sold me a bike with an existing problem in the radio. Luckily I paid for the extra warranty. I find out after they've had my bike and attempted to fix it for over a month that the person that gave them the bike for a trade in had the same issue. So they knowingly sold me a bike with an issue they couldn't fix. The bike is still not fixed. Every time I call to try to resolve the situation they say "my manager is busy right now I'll have him call you back" Needless to say no one ever calls me back. I've called 5 different times. No resolution still same issue.

Honestly the best dealership and class for motorcycles. I'm happy with my dyna wide glide as well as feeling a lot more safe taking their motorcycle class. Ashley John and lee were great coaches and have made me into a great beginner rider. Thanks guys for coaching me and thanks Steve and Motown Harley for helping me find my dream bike.

They should get a zero, because after doing a basic 1000 mile which was a rip off, they didn't retain the shift rod properly and it failed on the southfield fwy. I posted on Google, I've been to biker bobs six times and won't be going there again.

sales Consultant

The wife and I decided we wanted to start looking for new bikes, I had a Road King and she now wants a bike as well-We plan on buying two new bikes at the same time.

We walked into Biker Bobs in Taylor were greeted by the resection desk, within minutes a Sakes Rep approach Carlo, great guy! I mean it, extremely helpful, not in a hurry, just a genuine guy, we explained we are buying, that is set in stone but we are buyin in two months, stayed in for the sale, took us to the warehouse, I cannot say enough - We are buying and Carlo will be our go to guy.

If you are looking for a new bike head to Biker Bobs in Taylor and ask for Carlo, don't accept another sakes Rep - Great Guy.

horrible service

I purchased a brand new wide glide from them first thing that ticked me off was that they tried to charge me more then the tag on the bike then played dumb when I brought it to their attention I did get my money back I believe only because it was illegal for them to do that. I paid for a stage 1 kit when I purchased the bike pipes air cleaner and tuner when I picked my bike up they had installed the wrong pipes it took another 10 days to get the correct ones on there. Second problem they scratched my tank front and back fender up with a dry rag, my brand new bike looked like it was 3 years old I was disgusted by the time I got the bike home I then realized I forgot my stock parts they didn't offer to give them back to me when I went and picked them up they were scratched up horrible and parts were missing. Shortly after that my front brake fluid reservoir had started to leak dripping brake fluid on my tank and had caused imperfections in the clear coat they had the nerve to tell me that brake fluid does not eat paint and the clear coat protects paint anyways! you would think a mechanic would know that clearcoat is paint Wow!then when I told the guy he was wrong he tried to get tough with me asking me my name and where I live he was going to do something to me or something later I found out that he is part of a biker gang I've been called the manager and told him about the incident the manager never even called me back! needless to say I will never deal with them again I am currently in the process of trying to switch my warranty to a different dealer!

Specifically for my Service Department Experience...I've had no problems with parts or clothing department:

I recently dropped my bike off, against the recommendation of a friend, to have a hidden stereo antenna installed (that I picked out of their catalog). I told my friend "how bad could they possibly mess up an antenna?"...they proved to me wrong. After hearing nothing about the antenna for three weeks, I called and asked what the hold up was. The attendant I spoke with told me the antenna was on back order and wouldn't be in for at least a month! Knowing I had seen them before I took it upon myself to call their parts department...It turns out they had them IN STOCK! TWO OF THEM!!! I called the service department and told them this, and they installed it immediately. When I went the next day to pick it up, the antenna only picked up one station...so much for testing it I suppose. After determining they weren't going to be able to make the hidden antenna work, I opted to have a shorty antenna installed. First off, the attendant was reluctant to give me a refund on their hidden antenna THAT DIDN'T WORK, they then wanted me to pay for ANOTHER hour of labor to uninstall the hidden antenna and install the shorty antenna ON TOP OF THE HOUR I PAID THEM TO INSTALL THE NONWORKING ANTENNA. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with that idea. This was a product that Harley Davidson supported and they expected me to pay the price to install and remove nonworking equipment. Ultimately the best they would do for me was split the difference on the labor cost. I will not be returning, neither will any of my family...and we have a lot of family that have purchased bikes from this store. The customer service is attrocious and I will be contacting Harley Davidson about this as well. Stick with Motory City Harley in Farmington! It's Much Better!!!

The sales staff is conniving and deceiving. I called Biker Bob's about a '12 Street Bob that was on their website. The salesman assured me that they had it in stock (he apparently physically located it). I drove about 45 minutes to purchase the bike and when I arrived it wasn't ready to be purchased; it actually didn't even exist. The salesman assured me that he could order one from Harley Davidson and have it ready for pickup in 4 days. I agreed to proceed with the purchase because he assured me he would "hook me up." When I asked about forward controls and other accessories I planned on purchasing, the salesman called up the "consultant." I casually mentioned getting the bike within the 4-day time frame and was immediately interrupter by the other gentleman who proclaimed they wouldn't receive the bike for at least 7 business days. This was extremely aggravating. However, I proceeded with the purchase until I received the quote. The salesman wanted to charge me $500 for freight even though I went to buy a bike they told me they had in stock. Then he wanted to charge me $500 for denim black which is clearly marked on http://Harley-Davidson.c… at $385. Without tax, title, and license the bike was far above the MSRP (12,999) at over $15,000. I spoke my peace and left. I am getting a great deal from Motor City Harley Davidson. Steer clear of Biker Bob's.

Disgusted

Called at 6:50PM, to check stock for part I need. Parts man says "I'll check" and puts me on hold. 7 minutes later the call goes to voice mail. I call back and they're closed. They hung up on me.
