I love Dr. Erin Morgan, too...she's terrific...GREAT with my Shelties and very willing to explain everything about her diagnosis. Dr. Felicity is wonderful as well. I don't have experience with their surgical capabilities but would not have difficulty recommending them to family or friends. Dr. Morgan had to euthanize my heart dog in Dec. It was earth shattering for us, and for her...we cried together...she was compassionate yet professional...I honestly can't gush enough about her. My only negative comment would be the cost of their services...a little "pricey" compared to my former vet in Northdale and others I have called.

I LOVE this place...after having a mis-diagnosis at Pet Smart Banfield clinic of a torn ligament in my dogs back rt leg and they needed to operate ASAP I took her for a second opinion at Westlake Animal hospital. Banfield would have operated for something that was not wrong with my dog. While it turned out to be actually a worse dx of CA of her back leg and it had to be amputated, she is alive and feeling great and would have died in 3 months in pain if I had not went to Westlake. All of the vets and employees are great but Dr Morgan is my favorite, she saved my dog. When we go in the clinic, all employees know her name and treat her like the princess she is. thank you so much for saving my baby, Peaches.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Geagan - have been bringing my dogs here for years. He is very knowledgeable, patient (isn't just trying to rush out of the room), caring (has been wonderful through the deaths of two of my older dogs), and listens to the needs, wants and expectations of doggy moms and dads. You can see that he loves animals.

Have been taking my two dogs and cat here for a few years, and have nothing but good things to say. Very friendly, very helpful, and very skilled!

The entire staff at Westlake have been awesome in the five years we have had them as our vets. Drs. Geagan, Downing, McWilliams, and Hassell and all the staff have shared our joys and tears (Dr. Geagan bringing Maggie Mae back to a healthy beautiful spaniel who still gets compliments on how pretty she is; Dr. Downing and all the staff sharing our grief in dealing with and losing Valjean; and everyone helping Rudy with his allergies). I highly recommend them and hope I can find as compassionate a group where I am living now! Also, having groomers and boarding on the premises is very convenient!

At 7 weeks of age, my puppy needed medical attention. She was taken to, two different Veterinary Hospitals, and both wanted to put her to sleep. I thank God, Westlake Animal Hospital was referred to me, and Doctor Hassell treated her. She celebrated her 10th Birthday on Jan. 13th, 2006, and is going strong !!! ( looks and acts like a puppy ! ) A HUGE THANK YOU, to Dr. Hassell and all the staff. I can't imagine what my life would have been like, without Molly in it.

Our entire branch of family now goes to Dr. Hassell, he is an incredible vet, honest, caring, and the pets all love him. We never feel like he is trying to sell us services we don't need either. Just all around excellent DVM!!
